Florescence is a Green Salon.

 

"For over 20 years, Ive been offering alternative hair experiences to the Bay Area. Florescence is the latest iteration and to my mind, the most lovely! Florescence is a peaceful alternative to the ubiquitous chemical-filled and hectic hair salons. I continue my long-standing tradition by providing an intimate and calm salon experience specializing in artistically intuitive haircuts and relatively low or non-toxic services and products. Treat yourself in this graceful, private one-chair salon. I have created Florescence to be soothing to the senses. In this relaxed environment, the focus is on you, how best to bring out your unique style, and to provide a calm moment in your day. Each service holds the intention of creating some balance between who you are on the inside with who you are on the outside.

The walkway entrance on Tulare is just behind the building on the SE corner of  Solano ave. From Hwy 80, take the Albany/Buchanan  exit. Continue up Buchanan as it turns into Marin  above San Pablo ave. Continue up Marin and turn left on Tulare.    Map

Florescence is easily accessible by public transportation and are located near all the wonderful amenities of upper Solano avenue in North Berkeley.
